I don't see why people are mad or surprised we want him. We need a backup plan if our sophomores don't pan out.

Even if Buchanan beats out DK, as most think he will, DK is transferring, which everyone knows. So if we don't take a QB then we have to burn Pellerin's RS for him to be our backup. And if RB gets hurt, our most talented team ever is being led by a true freshmen who is playing his second year ever at QB.

Regardless, do you think DK would transfer before next season? I just think it's a big risk taking a QB with character issues if you think you have someone who can play. I'm not paid to make those calls though and probably for good reason.
