First Team:
Martrell Spaight
Second Team:
Jonathan Williams
Darius Philon
Honerable Mention:
Hunter Henry
Denver Kirkland
Dan Skipper
Trey Flowers
Honestly shocked that Flowers didn't at least make second team.

We pretty much felt the same way about Golden only getting honorable mention. Scratching my head about the UK guy being 1st team. No offense to the Cats fans but what am I missing that put him on 1st team?

Idk. I've talked to a few people who usually are pretty accurate about who makes it most yrs. & they're surprised about a few who got on & several who didn't this time. Your guy was mentioned as well as Flowers & a couple more who either weren't named, or only got HM. And yeah, the KY guy is pretty shocking. No one I know seems to understand quite a few of the omissions and/or selections this year. ... This kind of thing drives me crazy. Just hate overly subjective selection processes. Way too much room for bias & the appearance of it.

Flowers and Golden not being 1st Team makes this list bullshite.

Hunter Henry being honorable mention is the biggest crime on the list.

How anyone could watch the last quarter of the Mississippi State game and not walk away thinking Hunter was the best tight end in the conference is beyond me.
My problem is assuming the AP actually watches the games.

They just vote on stats and Engram and Schenu were 1 and 2 in the SEC in yards for TE's.

As a side note, I really wish catches for converted third downs was more than just an advanced metric, especially for TEs. It seemed like every one of Hunter's catches this year was on third down for a conversion.
