I've now been to 4 SEC Championship Games in the span of 7 years.

It's a fantastic event, done A+, no complaints.

However, having it in the same city the same way every year makes it kind of lackluster for fans who have teams that go often.

If you look historically teams going in bunches is very common. It's not uncommon for a team to string together a lot of appearances in a short span.

When that happens it does sort of lose it luster for the fans.

Also, always having it in Atlanta seems unfair to the fanbases who live farthest from Atlanta.

As such I think the SEC title game should rotate between say 3-4 venues throughout the southeast.

Atlanta, New Orleans, Dallas, Nashville, Jacksonville, St. Louis, all could be candidates really.

If you had to pick a single city, Atlanta is best, however I think having a rotation would be superior. They could at least try it for a few years and if it sucks go back to Atlanta full time.

The SEC will no longer have to worry about Legion Field being booked that weekend.

Thanks to Bama.

Time to move it back.

I wish it would go to the Montgomery Cramton Bowl every once in a while

It's time to move the SEC Championship game to a central location, with a very low crime rate, plenty of entertainment options, and a great football facility.

Jackson, MS would love to have you.

I think they should have a game in London every now and then for all the European fans and to help spread the SEC brand.

I just got home after 11 hours on the interstate. I support the idea of a more central location.

Should definitely be rotated. I don't have any complaints with the way Atlanta hosts the event but a rotation would be optimal.

I disagree.

With exception of those teams that start their season in Arlington or Atlanta for the kickoff classics, I always felt the Georgia Dome is a nice neutral site since every team's home stadium is outdoors and the majority are on grass. Plus, Atlanta is the largest city accommodation wise for the attendees. Arlington could also in the conversation now that TAMU is in the conference but it's too far west even for the Alabama teams.

Edit: Nashville is pretty central too. they would be a good host city as well.

ACC would sign a lifetime contract and never let it go. Seriously, you guys have no idea how perfect this conference has it with the game in Atlanta.

So what happens when we put it in Jacksonville and Mizzou and A&M both make it? Or Dallas and USC and Auburn make it?

The ACC used to rotate and it was terrible for them.
