Arkansas sophomore RB Korliss Marshall plans to transfer.

Head coach Bret Bielema said Marshall will not participate in bowl workouts. Marshall has not been a focal point of the Razorbacks' offense in his first two seasons but does sport a nice yards per carry average, rushing for 265 yards and one touchdown on 42 attempts. He has barely touched the football int he last six games.

Per RotoWorld.

Where to, Arkansas fans? I know many of you had high hopes for him.

Maybe Arkansas State? He got himself suspended a few times and he honestly doesn't have a choice about whether to transfer or not.

It sucks because he had potential to be a big playmaker (and he did make a few big plays for us), but he wasn't getting many touches and I think it was his fault. Even if he hadn't been getting himself in trouble, he wasn't great at protecting the ball.

He's a really good player. Guess the backfield was just too crowded. Whoever gets him will be lucky.

Sad situation to me, guy (and his mom) were thrilled when he got the offer- their comments made me really really want him to succeed. He's just been in the dog house most of the season- in and out of suspension.

Have no idea on where he'll go.

A player leaving the program due to suspensions? I think we already know where he's going.

Any talk of Williams leaving early this year ?

Lose him and Marshall and that backfield becomes very empty for a team that runs the ball over 65% of the time.

Marshall hardly played this year so he's not going to really make a dent. There has been talk of JWill leaving but I think he'll stay. It's a pretty deep year for RB's in the draft and he didn't exactly kill it against SEC teams.

You are correct though in that losing him next year would be an issue because all of the other backs on our team are complete unknowns.

He couldn't keep himself out of trouble. Had nothing to do with the depth. Bret all but kicked him off the team.

This. He isn't transferring because he dislikes Arkansas.

He got several chances. Too bad he's a dumb arse with all that talent.
