Unfortunately due to work I've had to listen and not watch most games this year.. but has anyone really stopped Cooper one on one? Or even slowed him down...? Seems like if you don't double team him you're asking to get raped.

Imagine, the same guy predicting a huge arse blow out between Mizzou and Alabama hasn't gotten to watch much football this year....

Henre Tolliver at Arkansas kept him to 2 receptions for 22 yards.

Like you, my job keeps me from watching
every game. The games I have watched though
nobody shut him down. He'll get his. They
just need to worry bout stopping the
yards after the catch, if they can.

I'll imagine you finding a link to me even talking much about Bama winning any game this year, much less blowing anyone out. I'll wait..

didn't he get injured in the second quarter?
what I found from a quick search
quote:
Amari Cooper caught no fewer than eight passes and as many as 13 in the first five games of the year. Against Arkansas, the Heisman candidate was targeted just eight times in the 14-13 win. He caught two for 22 yards in his least-productive SEC game since a two-reception, 34-yard outing at Texas A&M last fall.
But, for the first time this season, it could be argued quarterback Blake Sims tried to force things to Cooper at Arkansas. He should have been intercepted twice on first-half balls to his star receiver as safeties effectively brought double teams when Cooper went downfield.
It took five throws to Cooper before one was completed. His 12-yard catch in the second quarter appeared to injure his shoulder, but coach Nick Saban didn't answer a postgame question asking for his status. Cooper returned in the second half to catch one pass for 10 yards.

quote:I think a lot of that had to do with the horrible weather during that game, and the days before it. Not to be a dick, since I have a lot of respect for Arky. And now I've got respect for mizzou for being y'all.

Should look into what Senquez Golson did to Cooper. I'm honestly not sure. I was drunk as frick at that game. I think Cooper was held scoreless and for only like 92 yards or so. But I'm not sure what our exact gameplan was.

Pretty much everyone outside the state of Missouri is predicting this.

LSU played man under and single covered him with our 2nd string CB after Rashard Robinsonwas suspended the week of the game. The results?
8 catches, 83 yards.

He will make catches, sometimes we get the right match up sometimes we don't. It's not a huge deal take what the defense gives.

He had like 5 drops and still had 83 yards and a touchdown against you. #tDecline must be real if this is what LSU is bragging about these days.

I think Sims is coached to look for Cooper whenever he is 1 on 1 and get him the ball. Thats what Gary D was saying pre snap and like clockwork Cooper would get hit across the middle.
If you cheat your safety up to run stop then Cooper will light you up deep. Not much a team can do. Only reason it was close with the Barn is because Sims gave up 3 picks. We will beat Mizzou by 28 points and no Im not kidding.
