I've seen it mentioned on this board a few times that Greg Roman would be great fit for our system and I agree.

It appears that he is on his way out in San Fran. I know its a reach but Chaney must go and this should be his replacement.
Someone please use your sources to contact CBB and make this happen.

Would. Fap.

However, I wouldn't be surprised if he just follows Harbaugh to wherever his next gig is, since he's likely done in San Fran according to most NFL insiders, and Roman and Fangio have been with him since Stanford.

Will give Urban Meyer chest pains and panic attacks forcing brief "retirement" and move to USC eventually.

I still say that Bret's old OC Paul Cryst would be great. Unfortunately for him I think Pittsburgh is ready to part ways with him

I'd be good with that.

There was talk about him being the HC back then.

If you want a past Arkansas connection, Loggains (or however he spells it), former OC for the Titans, was a GA under Nutt here.

I think I saw he was with the MSM at a FCS program in Illinois.

He's the QB coach of the Browns.

Interestingly enough when I posed the OC search thread on Nov. 1. He was the name I first mentioned to bring home.
