No spread coaches, that's what got us here in the first place.

This. frick hiring a spread coach. I want a guy who knows how to scheme for this kind of system and has had years of practice doing it. No more of this learning on the fly and meshing of styles nonsense.

I don't know enough about offensive assistant coaches to really give an informed decision. It seems most schools have gone to some fashion of the spread.
This pro style/power football has definitely become the minority in the college game.

I say pump the brakes. We are a quarterback away from being a great team. The defense is now nasty and the offense can be. Cant count on BA for one reason or another (either hurt or inconsistant). If we improve next year on the same level as this one we will be heavily involved in the west race. Chaney is not predictable and I love it much better when a defense has to at least think about what is coming. With the improvement it is too quick to be calling for heads IMO.

Mike Sanford Jr. is an intriguing name to me but doesn't have a lot of experience yet.
One of the top young recruiters and was at Stanford the last few years (from RB to RB/RC to QB/WR/RC) before being hired as OC/QB coach at Boise under Harsin.
Looks like his is making $305,012.

Also, let's all join together and root for Miami this evening as they take on the Pittsburgh Panthers. A loss for Pitt might just be a win for Arkansas.

Would be willing to trade straight across for a used Paul Chryst, or a brand new Brent Vigen.

I would be surprised if Chaney is let go. Just a personal opinion and no solid information to base it off of at all.
