At 6-6 we met most of our improvement expectations. But going in to the bowl with a loss just feels bad. I thought I wouldn't care. But i do.

I feel great honestly. I didn't even think we would make a bowl game this year. We did. I'm happy. We saw so much improvement. My only concern is keeping Chaney. He's not the right fit.

Proud of these guys and hope we kill it in our bowl game.

Mirrors my thoughts. I saw a ton of improvement this year despite playing a ton of youth and still lacking depth at critical areas.

I agree about Chaney -- far too often this year our offense was bailed out by our defense, and there were too many times that our offense never could get anything going. Too many bad calls at inopportune times.

I hope we draw a non-AQ team and annihilate them, mostly because I really don't want to kill our momentum gained this season by losing the bowl game and ending with a losing record.

That's how I felt yesterday and probably will feel tomorrow. I just need to man up and get through this.

Agree with Chaney. There has to be better opportunities for him some where. Just afraid we'll lose Pittman too.

We won't. Chaney's fatass will see to that. And Bert is to blame to for not reigning his arse in.

Don't you have a sister/aunt you should be sweating on over there in smackover?? The games over. Support them in the bowl or STFU and find a bridge already.

Still pretty high on the hog. A tough game to lose but you will have that when you play good teams. I think the Hogs are headed on the upswing and while I may be down tonight I'll be feeling fine tomorrow.

Feeling great that we finished bowl eligible and ahead of expectations.

Feeling pissed at the coaching effort that was put forth tonight, seems like a giant step back from the direction we've been headed.

So true. I was so pissed in the 4th quarter and immediately after the game, but it's obvious we're primed for a big season next year.

It's definitely an understatement to say that Bert has us heading in the right direction.

Brandon Allen should have gained a bunch of respect with people today.

He gutted it out, but again an OC put him in a position to fail instead of succeed.

He played with a lot of heart today and I say that as someone who has been a harsh critic of the kid.

I can't say anything about his toughness. He was a warrior tonight. Sucks that he has no talent, though.

We averaged 5.2 yards per carry and allowed zero sacks vs team with most sacks in SEC, with a very hurt zero mobility QB.

Our OL didn't do that bad people.

Just about to post the same thing. I think the sideline to sideline sweep running plays killed us. Their d line has great side to side our speed rush quickness. We ran right in to their strength.

1. I don't care for Jim Chaney at all but I can see the rationale for keeping him around. This offense has gotten better year over year so even if he is bad, we would have a QB with 3 years in a shite system that has to account for something.

2. our O line is quite overrated. they are not bad. they just aren't dominant a lot of the play calling that gets called, gets called because we know we are not at that point.. yet.. where we can just line up and smash the shite out of someone. I fully expect to be there by next year though.

3. no coach is perfect. Even saban had the kick 6. Bert fricked up with playing allen too long and the time outs, but it is what it is.

4. The defensive game plan was the same as it was against miss state. they are too good to shut out. they are going to get some points. but don't give up the big plays and stuff the run. make them nickle and dime you to 7 and more times htan not, the d will make a play or cause a turnover. and it worked, until the offense sputtered and the D got gassed.

5, That toss sweep has got to go. it has never once all year worked.

6. I don't feel really bad about the lose, we didn't lose anything. we're going bowling.

They had not answer for a simple off tackle or counter play, when called.

They had every answer for passing plays outside of PA when called.

PA and Run plays were called to few to far apart in games this season.
