1. Kentucky - obviously
2. Arkansas - impressive win @ SMU. Consistency is their only real question mark.
3. Florida - I'd rank us lower if their were anyone else. This team will be dangerous once it gets all of its pieces back, but we may struggle for awhile.
4. Texas A&M - They have a solid win over New Mexico and just got 5-star transfer Danuel House eligible.
5. Alabama - Levi Randolph looks to be taking the next step.
6. Georgia - They haven't been terrific, but they should be one of the more well-balanced teams in the conference with Thornton and Maten down low.
7. LSU - I don't know who else to put here... They still have a fair amount of talent.
8. Ole Miss- See 7
9. Vanderbilt - Their freshman guards have been playing well (especially Baldwin), and Jones is a beast.
10. Mississippi State - Well, they haven't lost yet.
11. South Carolina - Close losses to a few decent teams, but you have to find a way to win some of those.
12. Tennessee - awful
13. Missouri - more awful
14. Auburn - most awful

Mizzou and Auburn should go play in a lower tier conference for the season.

Don't know how to take this. I am eager to see how the Aggies play this year.

Aggies already getting respect. Props to you guys for taking the time to notice the clear improvement.

I don't disagree with this post.

If we're talking power rankings I could see where you could maybe make a case based on where they are right now for A&M at #3. But otherwise it looks to be about right.

We (Kentucky) are taking this shite to the house this year!

I mean every athlete that would even think about playing in the SEC is at Kentucky. Sooooo yeah

Good list. Hogs should give Kentucky a good game this year. We got them twice last year and we're better than a year ago
Posted on 11/26/14 at 11:06 am to Mizzou to my Lou
You don't think there's good players at other SEC schools? Just because they're not stockpiled like they are at UK doesn't mean they don't exist. There's a good chance a non-UK guy wins SEC POY.

I thought basketball was the main reason for Missouri joining the SEC
