Greetings, Ranters! Sorry for the delay in gettig this week's rankings to you. Real. Life happens. So, last week was big and went a long way toward clearing up the division picture. Alabama is in control of their destiny, as is Mizzou. Amazingly. MSU and Georgia need some help to get to Atlanta. But MSU could moss Atlanta and still get into the playoff, while Mizzou has no shot at the playoff even if they were somehow to win the SEC. Georgia might have an outside shot, but it's unlikely.

Meanwhile, unholy alliances have been created, because the enemy of my enemy is my friend, old mafia style. Dickriding is taking place at an unprecedented level. Oh, and Obama is granting amnesty and Ferguson is all about to burn. Is this about it? Maybe not, but it's all I can think of now.

This week, we asked our voters to describe their teams as a tv sitcom. Some bit the mark pretty well.

The Nino and I would like to thank the Football Power Rankings Committee who created all this. It'd be impossible to do this without them. We'd also like to thank Week 11's randomly selected Guest Voters: dawgfan24248 & CGSC Lobotomy

I guess that person doesn't understand how power rankings work.

Nino will be here shortly to defend the ranking. He makes people with controversial votes explain their rationale so he can defend it on the Rant.

I doubt that happened. Just because someone had Auburn at 4 doesn't necessarily mean that same person picked Georgia at 5.

It happened. One voter had Auburn 4th and Georgia 5th.

And as you can see from the graph above, the same voter had LSU ahead of Arkansas, FWIW.

We have a large enough sample that outlying votes don't really affect the final outcomes.

It was me. UGA didn't win that game as much as AU just handed it to them. DWI.

UGA mudholed AU in all phases of the game. DWI.

We mudholed ourselves. AU wins that game 4/5 times.
