HUGE. Arkansas beating Ole Miss would keep them permanently out of the SECCG, but if Ole Miss beats Arkansas and we beat Ole Miss, that would add another top 10 win and solidify our #4 ranking. Also, if TCU wins outs and wins the BIGXII IYO, do you think they jump us even if we do beat Ole Miss?

was thinking the same thing. Especially since beating Ole Miss would be a ROAD win which would definitely add to the resume.

Personally, i dont think State needss to be worried about the SEC Championship game. State just needs to be concerned about winning the rest of their games and let things work out. I honestly dont believe Ole Miss will lose to Arkansas, but that theory has been proven wrong before. TCU could jump State if they win the Big 12 bc they probably dont want another year of 2 sec teams for the championship like 2011

Let's just keep winning and see where the chips fall. If we win these next two games, I just don't see them leaving us out.

Well I won't say adamantly that they can't.
However, they would have the same conference record as us, a loss to a team that is not ranked as high as ours, no conference championship game to win, would be co-champions not outright, there's just a lot of things wrong with that picture for them to jump us.
As much as everyone wants it to be Ohio State, I don't think the committee will forget about that loss to VT. They have made a comment about that game every week they have released the rankings.
