1. Will Sammie enter the draft?
2. Will he get drafted?
3. Would Auburn be better off he he does?

Has there ever been a more overrated Auburn player..

He has made some tremendous plays in his career, but he just doesn't have the "it" factor that receivers like Cooper have that can get him to the next level. I remember watching him try & track down a deep ball & being like "WTF was that".

1- Probably from what his attitude was coming in

2- He is still rated round 2-3rd rd pick and his combine numbers could push him considerably higher if he catches well for coaches

3- No

4 players I am worried about leaving. Duke, Sammie, Cass, Frost.

He's got all the tools but outside of Ole Miss and LSU he's been a liability this year. His drops kill drives.

I just dont see it. For every great catch he drops two.. Some of those drops were drive killers the last two weeks. I am talking about easy catches

The hype got to him as it did the entire team. Sammie and Auburn perform well with no pressure or expectations.

Yes. For example, Mario Fannin was once the future of Auburn RBs

1. Will Sammie enter the draft?
He would be better suited to return, but he may.

2. Will he get drafted?
He would blow up at the NFL Combine due to measurables, but his inconsistent hands and limited route tree would likely hurt him a bit, IMO.

3. Would Auburn be better off he he does?
Absolutely not.

After seeing our receivers without Duke last night are there still people who think that unit is going to be adequate next year?

I think Sammie is a great WR. Some of the balls he is dropping may or maynot be all his fault. Something to think about is we as fans just see the ball hit him in the hands and think I could have made that catch. Nick throw as hard of a ball as anyone I have seen. Nick gets ball knock down at the line of scrimmage that is going 30 yds down field. Add that to the fact that some throws are made before the WR turns to look for the ball. This is not cutting down Nick but JJ throw a more catchable ball. Some of the drops are on Sammie but not all.

His drops are frustrating, but he is still a freak of nature.

I'd love for him to come back, but its prob a better idea for him to go make his money.

Yep.

He staggers like a drunk on a bender when the ball is in the air and he's trying to track it down.

JJ does seen to throw a more catchable ball... his overall passing ability makes me think he can elevate our 2015 WR core... even though the raw talent will not be as high as 2014.

I graduated from AU and my dad went to Au, so yes I have been following Au for a awhile now.. So who? It isn't Mario Fannin, he wasn't as NFL hyped and was a more productive player. Out of high school, sure there have been a lot,Tray Blackmon.. Demontray Carter maybe, but I am talking about after they hit the Plains.

Jeff Whitaker was pretty hyped...

Last I checked, 3 tackles for loss and .5 sacks in his entire career, to go along with 49 total tackles.

All the above for a 5th year senior with a large amount of playing time.
