When Les feels he has the upper hand in talent or at least even he seems to be very conservative. I expect to see the swashbuckling Les Miles Saturday night. Fake kicks, end-arounds, flea flickers, something will happen. LSU has nothing to lose but pride. The pressure is squarely on Alabama in this game.

Do you guys think I am off base here?

I don't think so. He ran himself right out of the '12 game by doing that. He's made such a name for himself with those antics that it's always expected. The wrinkles that he (and Cam) present will be too subtle for most viewers to notice.

Don't think we'll see trick plays. The most I'd expect is one well timed, well designed pass play when a run is expected or vice versa. Something like the touchdown at the end against OM. Being cute put LSU in a tight spot in 2012. I think Les is fine with playing his way and taking the result.

Not at all, LSU is playing with nothing to lose aside from wanting revenge and to ruin Bama's season

So what you're saying is LSU will have to be lucky to win or Bama will beat themselves.

Right...that's what won us the Ole Miss game.
How different is the Ole Miss game from the Bama game? In fact, the nothing to lose attitude could have been more against Ole Miss coming off losses to State and Auburn.
Now, we have something to play for...a 10-2 season with an outside chance to get to the SEC championship and more.
Miles will always play to the strengths of his team, something that's hard to fathom even within our own fan base.

Les definitely excels in big game situations.

He also plays down to competition which is very aggravating for fans.

It think this is where I put in a relatively useless .gif expounding my hate of this thread's logic. So, I'll just place this right here:

You better prepare for all of it, some of it, none of it, all of it times 2 or 3, straight up smashmouth no gimmicks, gimmicks galore, 3-4, 4-3, Spread, HUNH, I, Split,etc..

Why in the Hell does that matter? Isn't the desired result a win?

No trick plays I believe. I think we stick to the ground and pound. Even if we are stuffed at the line of scrimmage to start the game we stick with that game plan.

You are right all the pressure is in Bama we have nothing to lose.

I don't think LSU will be able to move the ball consistently with a power run game. They will need some short fields to work with or find some points in unconventional ways.

I don't think he'll necessarily run "trick" plays, but I could definitely see 2007 Florida where if it is 4th and 1, he's going for it as long as we're not backed up too far on our side. Maybe not in the 1st quarter, but if it's close in the 2nd half, I could see that mentality show.

It will be a great game if we don't turn the ball over. We can't afford to.
