LSU Fans are always the ones who worry about Miles....especially on Saturday in the Fall.

When Les feels he has the upper hand in talent or at least even he seems to be very conservative. I expect to see the swashbuckling Les Miles Saturday night.
Yes, I see your corrollary: LSU does not have the talent as the red team has - so funny I forgot to laugh.

The red team has everything to lose.

I don't anticipate any trickery. He's just going to go with what works and pound the ball down your throat.

I wish we could have played LSU early, their young talent is coming on strong. I think it will be a good game no matter what.
Good Luck

You are right all the pressure is in Bama we have nothing to lose.

You could lose the fourth game in a row to Bama. Miles should feel a little pressure in that.

I think this will be a close ball game, but I will say it wouldn't surprise me either way if one team wins with some ease.

Bama started as #1 as usual, but you guys do not look as good so far against a very favorable schedule to this point. Obviously that is about to change.

LSU is young and the preseason predictions finally got something right in that LSU will be better on the back end, they clearly are better. My worry is that you will run the ball effectively against LSU. If you cannot, you will be in trouble. The exact same scenarios apply to LSU running the ball.

I think this will be a very good game.

I don't think LSU will be able to move the ball consistently with a power run game.
Alabama does have a good run defense but is basically untested against a running team. Remember that our O-line is MUCH improved. We should put up at least 200 yds rushing on you. The question is the passing game.

problem is his trick plays cost us the game in 2012. if we play straight up smash mouth we win in 2012. we got cute and bama scored each time it happened.

I'm interested to see how Bama's front 7 does against LSU's relentless attack. They'll stop us for sure but for how long?

Palmer said this early in the season that this LSU team you will not want to face in November.

No you are 100% correct. When Les does crazy shite, it generally works and seems to fire up the team. (and we usually win) When he gets conservative and Saban like we lose, at least to you. I also think it bothers Saban when Les get crazy and unpredictable.

We lost two years ago when it was 3rd and 3 with about 2 minutes left and he ran the ball up the middle instead of doing a play action pass, which would have been wide open. It was the conservative call. We missed the FG, and you marched right down the field to win.

Crazy Les would have gone for it on 4th or thrown the ball or something. And we would have been up two scores or run the clock out.
