Our two remaining games in SEC play are Vandy and USC, ranked 14th and 13th respectfully in SEC power rankings with the USC game at home.

No reason to not anticipate 7-3 with Eastern Kentucky following those games and heading to Tallyban. We should be 8-3 with the Idaho game and if we win against the clown college we would have been 9-3....but what a curious way to get there? A season with more downs than ups...but now you get the feeling that the team will play hard and smarter with fewer turnovers.

Well the good news is: I think USC has completely quit on the season.

The bad news is: We still have to go play FSU.

If we could upset them, and get them out of the playoff committee I'd say the season was all but salvaged.

One game at a time, though.

UF needs to dick stomp Vandy. I don't want to see a game where UF wins 24-14 or some shite. While their arse by 30+, like the talent gap suggests.

SCe may have quit, but Spurrier is a great coach, he will be on top of his game against UF. I just want a W that game without getting greedy.

UF can beat FSU. Treon has 3 weeks to get ready and improve as a QB. He is a great game manager right now and has proven he won't turn it over much. He will need to be able to throw it 15ish times in the next few games efficiently, and we will see how the FSU game goes.

The Vandy game is going to be played in the bitter cold, at night, probably with a wind blowing. I doubt that game will be a blow out. I hope it is, AND IT SHOULD BE, but I doubt it. Even good UF teams have often had tough games in Nashville and this isn't a good UF team.

The South Carolina game is scary. Yeah, their defense is terrible. But that offense can score, and UF has been vulnerable in the secondary this year, and the defense has been inconsistent at times against the run. That will be one hell of a tough game for Florida because they are going to have to score points and control the ball tow in. Small margin of error.

Eastern Kentucky is a HUGE trap game. They are currently 8-1. They've already beaten a D1 team this year (a bad Miami OH team), so they aren't afraid of D1 competition. They average about 440 yards per game and 37 PPG. They only give up about 21. This is NOT a bad team. They average 250 a game on the ground. UF HAS GOT to be ready to play this team. EKU will not be scared.

FSU is weaker than last year, but if Huston Mason can put 319 yards on Florida's defense, Winston can probably put up 500. The UF secondary just hasn't been good enough this year to prove they can stop FSU. UF will need to probably score 35 points at minimum and I just don't think they are there yet against a team like FSU on the road.

UF going 4-0 would be AMAZING, but is highly unlikely. Given the performances so far this season, we should all be ecstatic with 3-1.

One UGA game doesn't change the fact that we are a very average to poor team. I see us 2 - 2 but I wouldn't be shocked at 1 - 3 or 0 - 4.

UF is a much better team than Vandy and USCe right now. Vandy is on their 4th string QB and has no talent. USCe's defense is like tissue paper, they made Dobbs look like a great QB. Cooper and Davis are good but Thompson is terrible. Eastern Kentucky is a directional. UF has lost to Bama (top 5), LSU (top 20), and Mizzou (SEC East leader). Vandy, USCe and Eastern Kentucky are not good teams.

Seems to me UF finally has an offensive identity?

Uhhhh Slay...need to rethink your reasoning for worrying about the girls school. UGA had 319 yds passing and most of it was when the game was out of hand and we were happy to play prevent defense and try to keep big plays from happening.
Crag Leg Winnie (instead of crab...I spell it like grab ) misses Kelvin Benjamin and he has zero run game to help him...the girls school will be forced to throw quite often. Our secondary play at safety has improved 25 X since the Bama game. I think its a very winnable game and we will look to avenge the loss at home last year. Recruits will be at the USC & EKU games and I hope the girls school has every top recruit in the country for our game so they can see which school is heading upwards.

We were much better team than Miami, Georgia (2 years ago), Georgia Southern, Mizzou this year...

That we're better didn't stop those teams from beating us.

Any post that begins with Dick stomp gets a like in my book.
