I got nervous again even though I know we win

I honestly thought we were done when SC led by 2 TD with 4 minutes left. I'm used to UT blowing a lead at the last minute. I don't remember the last time UT made a big comeback to win the game at the end.

I won't lie, there were points during the game thread where I posted "I just wish this game would hurry up and end"

The more I go back and watch tape the more impressed I am with Pig.
Even with Dobbs and Hurd there is no way we make that come back with out Howard. Little guy looked like a beast out there

On the road no less. I thought it was going to be another night full of moral victories. Glad we were able to get the monkey off our back
I'd be shocked if Neyland isn't sold out for the last 2 home games. A bowl birth looks like she may poke her head out and surprise us after all.

Completely agree. Hurd and Dobbs deservedly got a shitload of credit for the win but I think Pig easily had the best game of his career Saturday. I think he had around 150 total yards. Dude is fearless going across the middle and seems like that's who Dobbs always looks for when he's in trouble.

Even as amazing as Dobbs played, I was completely expecting an interception or fumble on that last drive to tie. After the past few years, you pretty much just expect for something disastrous to happen during moments like that.
Hell, even after the second sack in OT, I was waiting for some miracle play involving Pharoh Cooper to happen and our souls to be crushed once again.
Tis the life of a VOLS fan since 2008

At the start of the clip- is that run the one where Maggitt was out and Butch didn't know? And thats why he yelled at the trainer?

It happened on the long TD run by Wilds iirc.

Pig was absolutely clutch and getting to play more as a typical WR. He was playing the way we've seen Josh Smith do a few times - comes outta nowhere and makes those catches where you think "where the frick did he come from and how did he grab that?"
SC was all over Malone but Pig was able to sneak in there and have his way a lot.

One other thing... Anyone else notice that on those sacks in overtime they absolutely blew up SC's oline. On each one - both Maggit and Barnett are there but you also see AJ and others there each time. Had BOTH Maggitt and Barnett missed all three of those plays were still going to be sacks.
Talk about defense taking advantage of a second chance.

Tied for the biggest 4th quarter come back in school history.

U watched it earlier and just giggled every time the announcers acted like it was over
Of course I thought it was over at home but I did think it was interesting that with over 1:30 left when USCe got the ball up 7 and we HAD to make a stop the announcers were talking about at "what point Tennessee lost this game".......well.......they were wrong

Those announcers were some of the worst I've ever heard do a game. Completely clueless most of the time.

Wasn't the analyst Stinhcombe? I've always hated that bastard when he played and then I went to find out who the garbage announcer was and it was him my head almost exploded
Didn't mind the other guy as much

Again, I've hated him since he was a player but before the season he was doing the 30 minute SECN preview show and when he was going through our season predicting wins/losses he said we would extend our 26 game winning streak Over Kentucky.......lulz

I was on the Tennessee section and stayed til the bitter end. All the cock fans were heading out after they went up two scores late. They were all waving at us and dangling their car keys. Pure satisfaction acting like a jackass and screaming rocky top leaving the stadium.
