It was. I'm a senior now and started at ut fall of 2011. Since then my class has yet to see a winning season or a bowl game. Prior to last Saturday the only SEC wins my class had been at school for was Vanderbilt in OT freshman year, USC last year, and two wins against Kentucky in 2012 and 2013 when we had already been eliminated from bowl contention. I had been to 2 or 3 SEC road trips personally each year, and hadn't seen a road victory until last Saturday.
