Dak leaving early for NFL -vs- Dak staying for Sr year

If he decides to come back for his Sr. year do y'all see us being a top 3 national powerhouse again?
Or if he leaves for the NFL early how do y'all think we will be without him? Top 25?
The New Orleans native Damian Williams (his backup) won us the overtime game in Little Rock last year & he started & played all but 11 min in the Egg Bowl victory. The 3 star dual threat QB seems like a smart young man.

Unless he wins the Heisman and a national championship, he's not leaving.
He's also going to be a tight end when it's all said and done.

don't matter. he gone
honestly tho, y'all's whole program revolves around about 10 key seniors and dak. Literally 90% of plays are made by them on D and O. Without those guys, y'all are back to .500 maybe.

I think he'll return, but I also don't see us winning out. Just seems too good to be true.
D. Williams is a very strong passer and throws the ball like a fricking bullet every pass. While accurate, this created many drops last year. Once he gets his "touch" he'll be ruthless.

D. Williams you mean? I didn't realize Damian had such a strong arm. That's good.

The receiving corp had an immense amount of drops in the Egg Bowl last year, all rope passes. He's money within 25 yds.

So you're saying he's gone? Great.

The top 3 stuff comes from the contributions of a LOT of experienced football players. We will have a lot of solid returners next year, but you will have to see if they gel or not.
Nick Fitzgerald is an absolute bruiser when he runs the ball. Williams would probably get the nod between these two today, but long term, Fitzgerald fits Mullen's style much better. He will be Relf-like with a better arm. Fitz and Staley will probably be the biggest QB combo in the league.

You know... I was on this side of the argument for a while... But if you watch more and more of him, he has good foot work in the pocket and actually goes through progressions. I often time see him hit is 3rd progression and/or checkdown.
I'm starting to see that he could be an NFL QB.

The same things were said about Tebow.
We all know how that went.
