My only issue with him is his inconsistency with his accuracy at times and his release isn't the quickest.

Dak does have a very nice release compared to Tebow IMHO.

It's better, but it's still not exactly smooth.

Also, 6'6 240 QB?

Dak is gone for the same reason Cam left after one year.

Don't know if it'd be in his best interest to leave. Not a strong enough passer. I think another year in college working on his progressions, throwing technique, and decision making would be best for him.

Without him, y'all have a foundation regardless. To be perfectly honest, I think Josh Robinson might deserve the Heisman more than Dak, your line is strong, and WR are improving every game. Would not be undefeated with Damien, but still a strong team.

Damien is not the future of our program. From what I've heard, 6'5" Nick Fitzgerald and 6'3" Elijah Staley are really developing well in Mullens system

247 has Staley as 6'6" and 240. I'm 6'3" and he is a big fricker..

I agree. Tebow was a great college QB, but his mechanics were better suited for throwing a baseball. Dak has better mechanics. He's been better at keeping his eyes downfield and moving around in the pocket. I wouldn't be surprised if a team like the Steelers drafted him while planning on giving him time to develop and learn a system.

y'all's whole program revolves around about 10 key seniors and dak.

That's not true at all.

We return most of our wr corps, our starting RB, and likely Dak. We lose 3 o lineman and our tight end. We lose 2 receivers but 1 of those has been hurt since LSU.

We do lose 2 good d linemen and 2 good lbs though assuming McKinney goes pro

The biggest loss this season will be McKinney and Wells, IMO.

The OL will be fine, QB and RB return, WR return.

DL will be fine, DBs will improve.

The only thing that concerns me is finding someone to replace Wells. People don't understand how big an impact he has on the Defense.

I think it would be dumb if he came back next year. Miss St takes a large slide back next year, losing 16 starters. He would be foolish not to make the jump. If Mullen stays, I think the program will see long term stability, but I have a hard time seeing Mullen sticking around.
