this game is in Columbia too right?

I could see UTk winning but USCe will have a bad taste about last year, too.

Thanks for the response. It'll be interesting to see how he handles the road environment of Williams-Brice. Hopefully our D can get a little pressure and force him to make some poor decisions (though I doubt it, that's why this will be a shoot-out).

If it were Worley as he's played since his initial injury at UGA it would be hopeless but Dobbs has opened the offense. I'm sure he'll make some mistakes, maybe even some critical ones, but he can move the chains and score. Unlike Worley who needs more time to set, he can actually throw vertically and do so on the run.

Although this will be his first start this year, the same set of circumstances arose last year. Last year Worley got hurt against y'all then we faced Bama (Worley tried to play and couldn't) Dobbs finished the Bama game and the rest of the season. He was impressive then but he was a true freshman trying too hard to do everything on his own and about 25lbs lighter. He also didn't have anyone to throw to other than other true freshmen. He had miles of potential but it was rough.

This year's game against Bama, Dobbs was also impressive only far more than he ever showed last year. We knew he had talent but we did not expect this level of improvement so quickly. He exceeded every expectation we had and then some.

I will say my fears are that he may be more jittery on the road (he was cold as ice at home though) and/or he won't be able to cover up all the flaws on this offense and that line is pretty big flaw. You will likely get a sack or two just not 5-6 per game Worley/Peterman would give up.

The big thing though is that we've lived off of our defense without our offense doing squat since UGA - well until Dobbs went in at Bama. Now our defense can breathe a little bit and being able to stay on the field on O will help our depth issues on defense.

I'm calling it now. Hurd is going to have that breakout game vs te Cocks. 150+ yards and 2 TDs

Wow! bold call there. 150 yards would probably be underachieving against this swiss cheese D Lorenzo Ward is going to trot out there Sunday.

Our oline is atrocious so it would actually be an accomplishment if we could do that.

True, forgot about that.

A terrible OL vs a terrible DL. Whoever wins here could decide the game. Tenn. line must be terrible to make SC DL look decent tho.

I have a question SC fans - why the hell did y'all decide go all Dooley/Sunseri this year and switch defensive schemes??

It will be hard to say with Dobbs in but if Worley or Peterman were in I'd say they'd get 5 sacks at least. IIRC, we have up 5-6 to UT-Chattanooga.

The only reason Bama didn't have a zillion sacks was because Dobbs can burn you.

Because our Dline is thin and untalented at DE so we've got better passrushers at LB than DE

As another Vol poster said, he is definitely the wild-card. Our crowd should be rowdy and loud as ever as we know we're fighting for a respectable season. Will Dobbs be able to perform well enough to keep his team in it when our offense could be able to score at will? If y'all could get an early lead and take the crowd of it y'all should have a pretty good chance of winning.

I'm just very optimistic about our offense, especially after the Auburn game. Davis has been running very well the last few weeks and Pharoh Cooper has fully broken out. He will be everywhere on the field just as he was last week playing receiver, in the wildcat, and on trick plays. We are deadly in the redzone.

Spurrier wants to beat Tennessee. And when he REALLY wants to beat someone, he usually does very well (UGA and Auburn this year).

Thanks for the explanation. I'm glad y'all at least had a reason for it. Our switch was inexplicable but if that's your situation then it does make a bit more sense to go ahead and transition.

35-24 Cocks

SC offense is coming around. They have better players on offense, and are at home. Donna is really weird looking.

I don't think its gonna last and honestly it probably wouldn't have happened if we get just one of the DEs we signed in the 14 class

We let Matty Mauk score 21. Y'all will score 42. Only thing is, we'll score 45 and win.

What does this

Auburn fan claiming no cares

have to do with this

How quickly y'all forget how tight your assholes were clinched till the last play of the game not even a week ago bc you came close to losing to the worst team we have fielded in close to a decade.

No one cared last weekend outside of auburn fans and carolina fans...especially considering the other games going on.

Also I guess it's just assumed if you catch the hail mary, you're going for two and getting it, otherwise i'm struggling with how the last play of the game would've beat us.

What if I said we don't care that you don't care?

Title clearly explains what you're getting into, and you still come in and say nobody cares.
