Retards really come out in full force when bad things happen. Can't wait until they scurry away in a day or two

Nobody is saying what he did wasn't wrong or against the rules, but JFC people are acting like he went Aaron Hernandez on some people.

I don't know if he lied to UGA or not. That's not what I was referring to. I'm talking about him doing this over and over after being warned to stop and all the while knowing the rules. That's not a mistake after the 1st time, it's a choice.

But he broke the rule regardless. And knowingly so over a period of years. And he continuned to do so, regardless of any consequence to him or the team.

Of course, the rule is stupid, but it is still on the books and is enforced. Should UGA have just continued playing him regardless of that "foolish rule" as you say? He knew what he was doing and what would happen. Yet he continued.

What's the difference between this and a player who smokes weed? He's warned not to do so, he knows it's against the rules, but does so anyway. When he fails a drug test, should he be kicked off the team? He was knowingly risking his ability to help the team, as well.

Yep! After he fails one and is warned to stop smoking, yet he continues and fails another one. Gone!

And how many were kicked off the team because of drug rules? He started from the beginning and took the risk of getting caught. I read somewhere were he was warned last year and yet continued to do so.

Oh wait, wouldn't that be a lie if he said he would stop yet continued?

Todd didn't fail one, in the example. If he had, he would have been suspended then.

Just for clarification, you think UGA should dismiss players for a second drug offense?

This wasn't the second time Gurley was officially caught by the NCAA or UGA, just his first so he should serve his suspension and that should be the end of it

I feel the University handled the situation appropriately. Some of the ranters jabbering on about Gurley's integrity need to chill the frick out, though. There isn't a one who hasn't broken a rule at one point or another that they knew was wrong. Give the kid a break.

They were kicked off after their 3rd offense.

Read the NCAA statement. It says he went through the education just like all the players, just like players are told from the beginning not to do drugs.

There is no evidence that he was suspected and specifically warned.

According to what we are being told, someone knew he was doing it and warned him to stop, so technically, he "Failed" one. He continued to do it and got busted again. That tells me it's habitual and he has no intention of stopping. See ya. Same with the dope smokers in my opinion.

Link? I've read everything there is to read on this and haven't seen anything like that.

So there was no post on here about being warned after items started appearing on ebay last year?

Not the same as being caught or "failing one". Just the same as if there were rumors a guy was out partying and a coach warned him not to do anything stupid. I guarantee you won't be around when Gurley runs buck wild on Auburn so do us a favor and leave now

I didn't realize posts from random posters on here should be taken as fact. The NCAA statement says he received education, like all NCAA athletes. That's the only thing we know to be true.

The only thing I've seen like that was Bryan Allen's reddit post talking about being told to stop because the value of the merchandise was falling.
