Johnson is better than all of them by a good margin.

I actually made a comment during the offseason about how AJ Johnson is really good, and multiple Tennessee fans responded to me in order to tell me how overrated he is. It was really strange.

I tend to agree. Limited range and struggles in coverage when I've watched him. He's a tackling machine between the tackles but not an elite linebacker, imo

Ragland is quietly one of the better linebackers in the SEC. He'll never get the credit he deserves, but he is really good.

I said this on the UGA board, but Leonard Floyd and Amarlo Herrera should be on this instead of Jenkins and Wilson for UGA

This. He is going to make a GM look very bad, imo.

Ramik Wilson is in the same overrated boat, though.

I don't recall Johnson doing anything on Saturday night. Ragland on the other hand...

In a thread where he is listed as a Butkus semi-finalist?

To quote Cartman "he's sure to win the Butkus award . . . because he's the biggest Butt-kisser I know."

I think AJ Johnson is pretty quick. He's not a burner but he also isn't nearly as slow as people make him out to be. He has a great frame and is one of Tennessee's all time leading tacklers. It's not his fault he has been playing behind atrocious dlines his entire career, including the youngest one in the SEC this year. He absorbs a lot of contact each play and is still always around the football. What SEC Mike LB doesn't get beat sometime in coverage when put in a mismatch?

AJ is one tackle shy of tying the record for most career sacks in the SEC.

He'll never break that, because we all know it is really DT, they just didn't keep the stats back then.
