Total bummer.

Puts baseball, and sports in general, in perspective.

Very, very sad.

The Cardinals have had their share of tragedy.

Darryl Kyle, Josh Hancock, now Tavares. Sad indeed.

Such a tragic death. He was loved by everyone when he played at Auburn.

I'm completely shocked. He had such a bright future ahead of him. Everyone that follows baseball seemed to be excited to watch his career develop. Definitely puts things in perspective. Life is precious people.. it's easy to forget that sometimes.

I saw a tweet and really hoped it was code for "traded", "cut" or something not literal...

what a terrible shame.

This really sucks. He was a great cardinal. I was at game 2 of the nlcs and saw him come through with a big home run. I wish his family the best. Rip

There were other good pics on that twitter link, but I think linking to pictures of a dead body, which was there too, could get ya banned. Just trying to keep ya around my friend.

Yordano Ventura wearing the initials O.T. on his hat for the world series tonight.

Watch MLB fine him for altering his uniform

Interesting, it was supposed to be the pic of the stadium with the right field lights on tonight.

Thanks!

That pic was on there, but there was a collage of pictures with it and one was of OT after the accident. I knew it wasn't the one being linked but it was right up top with the others and didn't want ya catching heat for it. I'll see if I can find a version of just that pic.

Anybody notice the fountains were red during the moment of silence?

Anyone from Missouri rooting against KC is a fool.

That's it. There is a color version that looks great too.

BTW, Way to go Royals!!! A win and a classy tribute to O.T.

well, let's be honest...who didn't think that alcohol probably was a contributing factor?

I certainly assumed it.
