Towles? That kid appears to be a gamer.

UK poised to sustain some success?

Best QB we've faced this year.

He was decently rated out of HS and redshirted last season due to some injury issues/adapting to the system. He's come along really well, especially in his first season starting as a RS sophomore.

Between him and Barker UK should be pretty set at QB for a few years.

Uk was a quality win for LSU. Watching that game made me believe we could compete with ole miss and Bama this year. We shut toweles down.

I believe he played against us in 2012 and gave us headaches as a true freshman as well.

Yeah he had a big TD drive on one of his handful of drives before he tore up his ankle. I think he was injured on the drive right after.

Towles really looked good yesterday. He made me feel better about LSU D as well.

I'm not surprised our backs couldn't get going yesterday. State has one of the better front sevens in the country. Possibly the best one we've faced so far.

Towles' issue against LSU was that he didn't have anybody to throw to all night. They were pretty well covered up.

As a UK fan, having Towles and Barker on the same team is awesome. Iron sharpens iron.

The SEC in 2014 isn't exactly the land of the quarterback, but he's one of the most talented QBs in the conference. I think it's safe to say that he is at least the best QB in the East.

Is UK expanding its stadium? Thought I saw some steel going up.

Downsizing but adding more luxury boxes.

Not expanding (it's actually going to reduce capacity some), but they're in the middle of a big, big renovation that should be finished by the beginning of next season.

They're also building a new indoor facility and offices exclusively for football. Right now they share Nutter Fieldhouse with other Olympic sports (Nutter occasionally hosts the SEC indoor Track and Field Championships).

ETA: It's more than just luxury boxes though. It's a complete redo of interior/exterior with the addition of a pretty nice recruiting area and offices.

Kentucky is a bowl team this year and next year, who knows. Y'all get at least 7 this year. That was a physical game yesterday, I was impressed.
