or should Will be moving on to another job. I feel like his DC skills would be scary elsewhere in the SEC.

Personally, I want him as far away from Florida football as possible.

Against Louisville he failed to actually adapt to the defense -- called soft zone on a dual threat quarterback who destroyed us.

We lost to a completely (literally) one dimensional FCS team who didn't complete a single pass.

And Alabama put up 651 yards on us just a couple games ago.

He can go anywhere else except UF.

I'm sure Georgia will hire him.

Him and Jimbo are best friends. They will unite and become a recruiting machine.

I hate to down the man but -- I don't even think he's that good of a recruiter. You can stumble into a good recruiting class at Florida.

I don't think he brings anything to the table, and I'd love to see him on the other team's defensive unit. He has trouble with one dimensional FCS teams, good gravy I'd like to see what happens when his unit goes up against someone like Dan Mullen.

Once he goes back to focusing on defense only he will put a great defense together. The way he was able to flip recruits last year coming off a 4-8 season and finish with the 6th ranked class was unlike anything I have ever seen.

Georgia has Jeremy Pruitt. You think they are going to hire Muschamp as DC?

To answer the OP, no way the new HC would even consider it. Nor would WM consider it if offered. These coaches have HUGE egos.

Eh, I feel like he still works for Georgia sometimes.

He's a great DC. I'd be ecstatic to get him as a DC if I was a fan of basically any other team in the country, but that ain't happening.

Muschamp needs to get the frick as far from Gainesville as possible. I would consider keeping DJ Durkin as DC.

Nor would we want it to happen. I just don't think those guys from the Big XII are good defensive coordinators. It's a different type of game, and I mean...

He literally just gave up the most yards to any team in the history of UF.

I don't think "he's also running a lot of other stuff" is really a good excuse for that.

Can't believe some people would be content to have him anywhere near our football program after the regression of both offense and defense.

Of course it never entered into Straws mind that maybe....just maybe the offense might have something to do with the defense when it looks bad?

Against Bama we sold the farm to stop the run game (and we did for 3 qts) and we had issues with our safeties....they took over 1 guy who is in the NFL and another who transferred to Nueter Dame.
We also held Mizzou to 198 yds even though they scored 42 points...but blame the off/spec teams for that. Give it a rest Straw. You must be tired by now ?

Oh and btw almost every team in the country would want Boom as a DC...but of course they haven't seen your reviews...which would undoubtably change their minds

Change your name to "Real" Gator because you need to get your head out of the clouds, man.

Boom lost to an FCS, Georgia Southern team, who did not complete a single goddamn pass.

Imagine how inept you would need to be as a defensive coordinator not to be able to stop the run! Even if it's a triple option IT'S AN FCS. Less talent, more injured players than us, can't throw -- and they beat us.

In the Swamp.

You can't be this delusional.

It's a clear sign of strategic failure, and Muschamp has lost consistently to teams that we should have at least been competitive with.

They couldn't score a single point against Georgia.

I don't think I'm the one who should be exhausted defending a fricking loser like Muschamp.

This team needs a total change from the top down. Even the water boys and the equipment crew need to go. Too many losers on board.

Muschamp will probably do very well as a Dc elsewhere but no way can you keep him. Too much of a cloud.
