How would you have reacted in this situation?

Probably the same. There are few things worth fighting for even when you have the capacity. A seat is not one of them.

Unfortunately, if I were sitting in Cannes, I would've been drinking. I'm pretty obstinate when drinking. There would've been conflict. And after the dust settled, I'd a asked the paramedics who the frick is Justin Beaver?

I wouldn't have moved but I'm a big guy too. I probably would hand been a smartass and hoped they'd hit me first then get in a fight and then sue the little prick
