Quote from Chubb regarding his number of carries:

In high school, I got about 30 carries (a game) and played defense

After Gurley's suspension you could make an argument for the vast majority of this TEAM

Gurley if I had to pick just one player....Missouri sucks. We could have beat them with ROWK, JJ and running end arounds with I-Mac, if we would have had to. Arky hasn't recorded an SEC win in what, 22 games.. not exactly world beaters are they...Chubb is one hell of a second string back that gave everything he had when he got the start. If Marshall and Sony would have been healthy they would have been One and Two. I think the entire team fed off the bullshite they were hearing from the Talking heads that predicted we'd lose both games, and rose up together to prove a point..Lets just hope the still play with the same heart

Oh absolutely. I couldn't pick any specific player that won either of those games by themselves. Complete team effort. And Chubb is just a freak. When Gurley got suspended I watched Chubb's high school highlights and it made me feel so much better.

Taught us we can win with out Gurley.

We can also win without Chubb

If I had to pick a player I'd want to lose the least, it would be Mason. Sure, his job is mostly handing off to the backfield, but he's also a game manager. He has protected the ball extremely well and has made very few poor decisions. You can still f-up on a handoff, and he doesn't. I can't say the same for Bauta or Ramsey. Maybe they could, but logic tells you they don't have the mental acuity that Mason does. Mason is not skillful. He's thrown a lot of bad balls this year, but he plays a very smart game and gets the job done. Would you rather him consistently overthrow receivers 5 yards or throw it to the other team? He's only thrown 3 picks which is on pace for the fewest picks of any UGA QB since Shockley in '05. Mason is the player who I think puts us in the most jeopardy if we lose him. Guess that makes him MVP to me.

It would have to be a member of the defense. They're the difference this year.

Not much a difference made against UT or USC...maybe they've turned the corner the last 3 weeks.

If anything the offense has been much more consistent than our defense and Mason has been our most consistent member of the unit

jesus dude what more do you want from hutson? i bet you dont even realize how good he has been stat wise. literally exactly what we expected/need out of him. i would say he has actually exceeded expectations at this point.

not arguing hutson for MVP at all btw. lots of options there. id stick with gurley.

Not so sure we could win without Chubb, Sony or Gurley. We didn't have to win without Chubb. We did have to win without Gurley and Sony.

I've thought for awhile now that David Andrews is the one constant

Ben Jones was just another overhyped cheap shot artist piece of shite punk mother frickin lard arse

David Andrews may be elite

I don't think Georgia Tech opinions should count on this board.

Who is the MVP of GT season so far? Better yet does Georgia Tech have a season going on currently?

Pkye pulling on run plays is fun to watch. He cleared out some LBs and DEs in the Mizzou and Arky games. He deserves some thought as MVP on the OL.
