I am stealing this thread from the OT and posting it here to propose it to the mods. It can be found in it's original form HERE.
The proposal is a board for the banned. This would serve as a purgatory for those who have been banned. The active posters could go there and visit, much like visitation at any prison.
This would decrease the number of alters, and bolster the community by allowing banned posters to stay connected why they are earning back their right to be contributing posters.
I nominate that this board, if allowed, should be called 'Banland'.

Been suggesting this same thing for several years. Still not love from the SECR home office.
In one version I suggested a ThunderDome option, where banned folks could battle it out and rant folks vote on who gets released.

so, someone does something bad enough to get "banned", yet can still post on the website on a board and everyone can still read it as well?
Do you realize the purpose of a ban? It's supposed to a punishment.
