I agree, great recognition for him. Mentioned it in the preseason poll thread. Really think he can have a great year. He was the only non wildcat on that list!

Hope he rebounds from his god awful play in the NIT
He has the talent, he just can't try to do too much.
Honestly, I hope Fox puts him at the 2 50% of the time and lets Frazier play point.

not sure I agree about putting him at the 2 unless he has improved his 3 point shooting. He is so good with the ball in his hands getting to the rim. Also has only played PG for 3 years, I think we will see improvement there. That is a difficult position to play. Love the lineup against the right teams with him and JJ sharing time though.

He has started 3 years and he is a mis-match against most other PG, but his TOs worry me. Mann doesnt have to shoot 3's to be a 2...if Frazier and Gaines could handle that. Mann could still do his drive game from the 2 imo.

Gaines has to be on the court. If Mann goes to 2, Frazier is at 1, and Gaines is at 3, that seems like an awful small lineup to me defensively.

That was Fox's MO at Nevada though. Thorton and Maten will be fine on the block. Plus, Kessler has improved too based on reports.
Dominant big men aren't a dime a dozen anymore, if Gaines anf Frazier can contine to hit 3's I think a Frazier, Mann and Gaines combo will help us more than hurt us.

That's probably it. I do remember reading that Fox was in year's past rather worried about his guards being too small, in particular when he played kentucky and no one in the starting lineup was under 6'6.

Can't wait to see him play live! My little old school got a scrimmage with the UGA team November the 6th. I'll be there with a pack of our students and alumni
