Going, don't have a ticket yet.

Advice? An acquaintance that I did a little bit of work for told me they might sell me some tickets if their guy had some. I called today and they said they'd "check with their contact" and then thanked me for the work I did for them. I thought later this might have been a subtle hint to not call back about the ticket. Or am I over-thinking things?

I'll be pulling into Fernandina Beach Wed. evening about 6:00 pm...I've missed 4 UGA - UF in the last 30+ years.

Like I mentioned in the other ticket thread the wife and I are considering driving over the day of if we can find decent tickets.

Haven't been in 4 years so should be a good trip.

Not a big deal. Pretty easy to scalp around there. That's what me and my buddies plan on doing. Did it last year and got tickets in the lower bowl on the UGA side for $60.

i will be tailgating and sitting outside watching it on the big screens with my kids...i dont take them in there anymore...i did it one year and it was 2010... i came real close to spending the night in the tank in downtown Jax when some jort made fun of my kid for crying about that loss...i prefer to be close...but not too close...

all of you going to SSI, Amelia, Jekyll....welcome to my neighborhood...enjoy..

oh and exit 3...Kingsland(my exit)..off of 95...has a shite ton of hotels at very reasonable prices...its a good base for those coming down...40 minutes to the stadium

I'm actually going a lot more low key this year. Usually we go down thursday and party but practically none of my buddies are going this year for various reasons. So I'm just going friday afternoon to jax beach and don't really have any plans. I guess just hit up a restaurant/bar or something.

When we used to stay on Jekyll this is where we always got off of 95 to eat breakfast at the Cracker Barrel going down to Jax Sat. morning...

Staying in St. Simons for the weekend and my seats are in 304 I believe. Can't wait to hit the road on Thursday...like a kid on Christmas.
