I see that our students could not pass on the opportunity for the most likely pun

I went to a local city event a few weeks ago and there were tons of HS chicks with wife beaters, plaid flannels wrapped around there waste, and jean shorts. I tried to describe it to 3 recent college grads as "Nirvana Grunge, with cowboy boots instead of Doc MArtins" They looked at me and didnt have a clue what I was talking about

Think of the jizz jar jokes that could have been made had this happened at aTm.

Hate that the students didn't respond that well. Pearl had to chide them into getting fired up. Almost a backfire.
If they are gonna have a proper "Pearl Jam" then they need the real deal. The band finishes up its tour 10/26 in California. That would be better than a gimmick imo.

11:00 AM in a class that is usually boring as shite. Hard to go from asleep to fired up in 30 seconds

I was more impressed that so manyp eople showed up to such a large lecture class. By this point in the year, attendance usually is <25% for a class that size

Padget sent out an email letting us know we would get substantial extra credit for attending on Tuesday, hence the high attendence

The only time it's looked like that is a test day. He told us he was having his lectures recorded for something so he was giving us extra credit on that day if we showed up (which I found fishy, but I went with it)

I know the feeling. On serius this month they've been talking about Bush's 16 stone being 20 years old. Pearl Jam's album Ten has to be as old if not older. Just saw them last week at a festival in Austin actually. Eddie still has it!

Ten came out in August 1991. Jeeze I feel really old. I was starting my sophomore year of high school.
