How screwed would your team be if your QB was lost for season?

AU would lose a major component in marshall, but we have the best back up in Jeremy Johnson in the country, so I think we could still compete well.

Others not as much.

Marshall doesn't look too good on the road so I could see where JJ could jump right in there..

I'm not sure we have a QB.

extremely.

we'd still PROBABLY beat tech, CSU, and kentucky. Also florida just bc of the run game.

We'd lose to auburn.

We wouldn't notice any significant drop off.

Auburn would be undefeated right now, if we'd lost our starter 3 weeks ago.

We'd probably be forced to get into the I formation and hand the ball off 50 times a game.

Well considering our current QB is a former RB I think we'd be OK. We don't need much with the bunch of guys we got around him. Hell plug in our kicker. All he has to do is hand it off.

Marshal is no different on the road than any other place. He is what he is…He played at the same level as Dak two weeks ago, but our defense wasn't as good in the red zone. Some might say he played better than Dak since his interceptions came on batted passes and not poor decisions and throws.

This is absurd.

Depending on which QB you're talking about, we might actually be bett...ah, screw it. We wouldn't notice because we have several equally-inept QBs waiting the wings.

LSU would probably be better.

LSU could put our 3rd string RG in at QB and the offense would look exactly the same. Sad part is I don't think the ineptness is entirely on the QB.

I don't think it would change a thing, hell, we might be even better.

My dog could probably throw for 20 yards a game.

I remember when South Carolina was telling us they had the best backup in the country too.

Is there a better more proven backup qb than USC's Dylan Thompson

While Thompson is perfectly fine, I think they miss the intangibles that Shaw possessed. Everyone overlooks intangibles. I think Marshall brings a lot of things to the table that would be missed.
