What does wishing cancer in an interargument on the interweb actually cause?

Well nothing, but what does any argument on the web cause?

So, the question becomes one of decorum and what is accepted or not.

I am extremely forgiving about banning, I have never supported one.

But as a cancer survivor and having family members lose their lives to that disease, wishing that on someone is over the line. And I do draw the line there.

Glad your still amongst the living, Whopper, and everyone has a line I suppose (I wonder where mine is? My daughter? On a message board? Where no one knows her? Hmmm...)

I do realize that people get offended. I just hate the arbitrary lines that are imposed because of feelings being hurt. That line, once drawn, keeps getting erased and redrawn, from more liberty to less.

I'm just thinking "out loud". This ain't the rant after all, and the rant wasn't the rant when it was pawned off by SBJ. If Humper is offended, this is serious business. I'd say the same about you, but Humper is a goddamn sadist who gasses people and you are not...

I understand your points my friend, and perhaps I am overreacting, but that one got a pretty close to home.

Well, one of my friends is on the football staff at UGA. He has a wife and kids. The kids and wife are from Athens and he spent most of his life there. When you wished Richt to be fired, you were essentially wishing my friends little girl be taken out of school, from the only city and school she knows and moved to an apartment in a God knows where just so your favourite college ballclub wins more games. Is there really a big difference between wishing an adult cancer and wishing a little girl to get drug out of her school and home because some drunken a-hole wanted more Ws on the board? How motherfricking close to home is that?

If he's the one giving you your insider info then he probably isn't as good of a friend as you thought.

Somehow, I don't think Buck is going to be making any more good news statements like that again...

Not cancer. Perhaps a major case of rustled jimmies.

Spiff... if I hear something, I will pass it along if I think it is legit. Perhaps, as I was told early on, there was a lot more to this story, therefore it took some extra turns. Maybe we will get the full scoop later.

If I wish it, it causes cancer.

I press really hard on the keys though.

People get cancer all the time... but to wish a poor innocent child to be ripped from her home and school so your ballclub can win more is where I draw the line. I say ban anyone who wishes this on children...
