Ole Miss and Mississippi State - two .500 programs.

Yes and they will be back there again soon. This isn't some power shift in the SEC...Ole Miss had one good recruiting class. MSU has Prescott. I'm happy that both fanbases get to experience some winning...but neither will be taking up a permanent residence in the SEC top 5.

I mean, MSU tried to buy Cam and failed, so they're not even able to cheat well.

We all know Ole Miss bought a couple recruiting classes, but in this environment, who can say anything about it?

I salute Mississippi's desire to do what it takes.

He was ranting earlier about Ole Miss and Mississippi State football and openly wondering why no one is asking how two teams that have been mediocre for the better part of SEC history are all of a sudden #1 and #3 in the AP poll.

It's not all of a sudden. Both teams have been recruiting well the past couple of seasons. Sure the Landmass is doing better than we all thought but every dog or bear gets it's day in the sun.

Agreed fully. I'm glad for them.... and I'm sure they're feeding off of eachother. Good for them.

Dan also thinks people should feel deeply guilty and remorseful for watching football.

It is common knowledge that it is the dream of many a young black man from suburban Chicago to move to rural Mississippi.

Thanks Dan. You can't talk about our red-headed, bucked-tooth step-brothers that finally (whew) hit puberty that way. That is our job.

There was an all out bidding war between Ole Miss and MSU for Chris Jones.

Are you and engie sincerely suggesting that MSU doesn't cheat... That every single recruit and action taken by the athletic department is by the code

If so, y'all are some blinded, naive idiots that probably take politicians at their word

Everytime i listen to that guy, race is the topic of debate. How dare mississippi schools disrupt the establishment, this is unacceptable in his Cuban communist mind.

Tempted to downvote for starting a thread referencing that frickwad. He's the dipshit who was banned for life from the MLB HOF voting for giving away his vote to Deadspin. Banned for a year from the BBWAA at the same time.

Isn't MSU currently or just getting off a probation for paying a player? Mustang boy still plays there right?

LSU obviously doesn't have permanent residence there either.
