I saw a team on a mission. Domination in the 1st half followed by "cruise control" in the 2nd half. I was a little upset with the yards/points given up late in the game.

The defense is gelling and might become something special. JP is masterfully coaching the scrubs in the secondary into play makers. If he stays another year or two, that defense will be the best since the... (I won't say it, you can).

This was the 2nd game in a row that Hutson Mason looked pretty confident and looked like the game manager we were expecting since the beginning of the year. Inching closer and closer to the home stretch, he'll have to continue to perform at this level if we want any chance at winning a championship of any sort.

If we manage to return or stable of RB's I really like our chances to do something special. It should be fun felllas.

Mason got some very necessary confidence. Having Mason forced to shoulder some of the load is making us a much better team.

Especially if Gurley returns. We could be very dangerous.

If passing game continues to improve, and Gurley and Co. return, we could win some ball games.

My biggest takeaway is that we can beat good competition without Gurley. Last week was not a fluke.

2 weeks ago, I would have told you we'd lose to both Mizzou and Ark without Gurley.

Mason doesn't suck as much as I thought he did, but with how badly I thought he sucked before... He still sucks in my eyes.

We re-learned that our defense is not deep enough and experienced enough for the offense to get conservative and flat and try to sit on a lead. I hope Pruitt has a meeting with Bobo and reminds him of that fact.

What was the deal with the Arky TD with the totally alone Tight End? Did our D think they managed to get a TO called and thought the play was dead? How did we miss the play that badly? Thought that was unusual even for our secondary.

I know this may sound crazy, but Gurley being out has been a blessing in disguise. This situation is similar to Sean Williams calling out the defense in 2012. Its forced our game play to be put more on Mason's shoulder, as well as the rest of the team. Its opened up our boundaries that have been there the entire time. I'm excited for the emotional performance if and when Gurley comes back.

Agree, this has been the one biggest improvement I see in our team.

That we have a good offensive line. No way Chubb or Gurley have the kind of production they've had without quality line play.

Also, our defense is definitely getting better...last week wasn't a fluke.

Pruitt was pissed second half he told the defense they are "fricking embarrassing that G on their uniform" then he calmed down and started teaching again
