And given, it's just now the end of the first quarter, so this may come back to haunt me, haha

I know Prattville is 6-1 and 3rd in the state but they have not earned it. Chad Anderson is a great person but he aint half the HC Jamie Dubose and Bill Clark were. Not worth me bragging on even if Prattville wins, especially considering how God awful Auburn High has been in all but 1 or 2 games this year.

On a related note, since you posted the pic I assume that means you are there? I wish you had told me sooner. I needed a ride to the game. You could then brag to me in person.

And with that INT Prattville is toast 30-7 AHS. Proof of how pathetic of a play caller Chad Anderson is. He's only ran the ball with his best player, Keith Washington, a couple of times, who has a 5 rushing TD half on his resume this year. Good all around game by Auburn High and they would have won had Chad called a good game.

My High School would and probably has beaten all of yours. There's no point in a smack talking thread because I win it.

I left at halftime because I want my fall break to be spent sleeping, haha.

And 30-7? Dang. I really don't know what to think of this AHS team

I can think of a very similar situation somewhere else in Lee County

Are we talking to a Buc or was that tongue-in-cheek?

Let's just say Rush Probst is my personal hero and role model, the current UGA DC was my 9th and 10th grade weight training coach, and I once was on MTV in the background.

Well, y'all beat my alma mater last year in Tuscaloosa, and my hometown in Jordan-Hare the year before (as well as a home/home series).

But Prattville will always hold a special hatred in my heart

Rush is the current coach of my high school. Dude can coach some football! Rank by USA Today as #5 in the nation, and I don't think they have anyone with a major Div 1 offer this year (2* LB committed to UCF).

Hell yeah he can, Hoover was garbage before Rush and wasnt Colquitt County pretty bad before him too? Not going to lie I was pulling for Probst over Hoover the last two years and I was happy to see him beat Niblett this year. Niblett is a douche who puts his career and image first, and despite all of Probst's personal issues while he was at Hoover, he always put his players first and really cared about them. Didn't matter if you were 3rd string or 5* he would do whatever he could to help you and Ill always respect him for that.

Yeah and 2-A-Days would have had a 3rd season on MTV had Hoover not lost the state championship game the year before. Given the Fall of Propst the next season with the 2nd family and all coming out that would have been an unusually highly viewed for a show of that nature had there been a season 3. I have no ill will to Rush. I hope he has turmed his life around.

Hoover should too. For a while they cheated just as bad as Prattville did on getting players grades fixed and getting players zoned to play they were not aupposed to be able to.

Colquitt Co was pretty good in the 90's under Hughes but not like now. In the mid 2000's, they had a bad hire after Hughes retired. Problem is Region 1 in GA is super tough with Valdosta, Lowdes County and Camden County. Northside Warner Robbins use to be in Region 1.

I wasn't fond of the Probst hire initially. Seemed like he always "pointed" his players to Bama.

Hoover didn't knock out an undefeated AHS from the late rounds of the playoffs my sophomore and junior years, though

With all due respect I have a friend who playred under him at LB at Hoover. You might know him, he's a really great guy. Anyway he severely hurt his back one day at Practice and told me Rush ran him off the team after the unfortunate injury. If true, that was definitely not caring about the player in that situation.

lol. I remember 1 of those games very well. If your punter had kicked out of bounds instead of to one of the best punt returners in the state in Corey Shelton you guys would have won instead of losing the game with like 6 seconds left.
