If your punter had kicked out of bounds instead of to one of the best punt returners in the state in Corey Shelton you guys would have won instead of losing the game with like 6 seconds left.
I will go to my grave claiming there were multiple blocks-in-the-back on that play.

ETA: And earlier that day we lost the heartbreaker that was the 2009 Iron Bowl.

There was. I will not deny it. Point remains though, with 16 seconds left the ball should not have been kicked to a guy who had multiple TD punt returns on the season.

I missed the name but I imagine you've only heard your friends side of it and not the whole story. What years was he at Hoover?

True on not knowing Hoover's side but my friend has always been brutally honest in general. To his credit he holds no ill will to Propst or Hoover. He still loves his Bucs. On second thought you probably know his little brother more than him if you know that family. The little brother was at Hoover about the same time you were but I don't think he played football. The older brother had very natural blonde hair, was short but thickly built, and graduated in 2003. His initials are JP and little bro is MP and their last name is a derivative of the disciple who denied Jesus 3 times just before being crucified.

Final Auburn High pounds Prattville 37-7. Auburn will finish 2nd in the region and host a 1st round game in the playoffs if they beat Smith's Station next week and Enterprise loses to Central.

I graduated in 09 so I don't know the older brother. It's not ringing any bells with the younger brother either. What I know about Probst though is that if you wanted to play college ball, even if you were a guy that barely played, he would get all his film of you, have his staff make you a highlight reel and use every connection he had in coaching to find you a place to play at the next level.
Under Niblett unless you're a highly recruited big time guy, you're going to have to do all your recruiting yoursf because he's too busy planning his next public outing. My friends little brother was a 2 year started at DT for Niblett, great HS player with a high motor and great football IQ but was undersized so he wasn't looked at much. His parents had to make his highlight reel and send it to coaches for him. Niblett didnt talk to a single coach for him.

Damn! You'd think with all the money Hoover has that they'd have a production crew make highlights so all Niblett would have to do is talk to colleges when they asked about players.
