A player was suspended from the team and yet still allowed to practice other than this one? It seems that I remember several years back when we had a player suspended for a few games and it was mentioned that said player worked on the scout team but I can't remember who it was. If UGA thinks Gurley is gone for this week it would seem foolish to give him reps when the other backs could use them.

AJ Green. Pretty sure he practiced with the first team until they knew how long he was out for sure.

Yes it was A.J. Green who was out and still practiced, but there excuse then was that the word could come down at anytime and they wanted him ready.

Wouldn't that same excuse apply now as well?

They are using him in practice to get the defense a good look. He is very similar to one of Arkansas RBs. It is good for our team if he is practicing with them. He is running with the ones b/c they are the better oline unit which also gets our front seven ready for a ferce battle in the trenches.

Are you stating that Gurley is on our scout team giving our D some good looks? Or is he giving our scout team defense some looks at what it would be like to tackle a starter if they were going to dress out for the game ?

No public word will be given as to Gurley's status. Team gets to Little Rock, and holy frick, here comes #3 out with the team. Classic Richter misdirection, and blows Arkansas's minds. BOOM! Mark it down.

If that happens, it would be a bigger surprise than when the captains came out in red jerseys against Auburn and the whole team broke through with the Black out jerseys.

Since he would be seen flying with the team and that would give it away, I hear Richt has already set up for a pre-game flyover but Gurley is gonna parachute in for the coin toss to get the team amped up. My source is good.

I'm pretty sure that all of our suspended players practice during the week. Regardless of offense
