If he's back, it means it was minimal and/or not provable.

AJC Chip Towers yesterday:

quote:

A person familiar with the investigation of the possible violations by Georgia running back Todd Gurley told the AJC on Friday that it’s a “significant” case of the sale of memorabilia and there is a possibility that Gurley may not be cleared to return to the field this season.

It'd be a lot easier to figure out what might happen if reporters started dropping the names of their sources. Won't happen I know, but those are two totally different stories from insider sources.

Pretty sure the Towers article was released prior to Gurley/UGA retaining legal counsel that represented Manziel and Newton.

Only way is if he didn't accept money for autographs and I thought they already confirmed he did. Doubt he puts on a georgia uni ever again

There's been no confirmation of anything. Only rumors. And even if he took some money, the amount is what matters in dictating the length of his suspension.

Doesn't matter if he comes back or stays suspended. UGA looks strong either way.
