Because he kind of has to. At this point, his stock can only go down or stay flat. This is a blessing in disguise for Gurley. Not so much for Georgia.

I will wait and see exactly what he did before determining whether his absence is bullshite. If he sold a handful of items for a couple of hundred dollars, his absence is bullshite. However the autograph broker who outed him indicated he has signed this stuff for 30 other brokers and has received thousands of dollars in return. If that report is true, he probably needs to be out for a while
