They may bend, but they didn't break.

Give Smart a raise ASAP.

Our secondary is hot fricking garbage. What game were you watching?

What game were YOU watching? We held one of the BEST run offenses in the COUNTRY in check. We physically dominated all of football's biggest OL and two of the best backs in CFB.

They scored 13 points, and we made just as many mistakes as they did.

The game where our defense was on the field the whole time and gave up 89 yards of rushing?

Granted we gave up some passing, but we did what we needed to do. We shut down the run and made a run happy team have to rely on the pass to move the ball.

We only gave up two touchdowns despite our offense herp derping all over themselves.

Don't forget 54 of those passing yards came on one play. One play that was the anomaly.

I understand you're wanting to pump sunshine right now, but there is nothing about this defense that has me optimistic. We didn't beat Arky, Arkansas' terrible QB play beat Arky. They had wide open receivers and TEs all game.

This

They used their TE's size advantage on us at times, but outside a couple of breakdowns in the secondary the d was great.

We held one of the best rushing teams in the country to 6 yards in entire 2nd half.

6 yards

6 fricking yards in a half where our offense went 3 & out multiple times

So you're just gonna ignore what our run D did?

Are you gonna ignore the fact that we made just as many (if not more) mistakes as they did?

Are you gonna ignore the fact that we knew going in our LBs couldn't cover anyone?

The big plays given up on 3rd down over and over was frustrating. However... to have had to be on the field for so long and back to back after turnovers.. I'm feeling this defense. That was overall, a very good defensive performance.

Kelly being out hurts badly on the Oline. Blake needs to rely on other receivers more and spread it out more. Hopefully, watching tape, he'll see this and start doing this. I heart our punter. Like seriously. The only redeeming quality of our special teams the last 2 weeks.

Our run D was solid.

We don't play another I form pound the rock team for the rest of the year outside of LSU.

My post was directed towards the secondary, and I stand by it.

They also have a prolific running attack that got a grand total of 89 yards. Arky rushed for 153 against Aubie and 290 rushing yards against Aggie.

Our pass defense is still a weakness, but our run defense came through big.

Defense

Saving us from Sims and Lane's play calling.

And that is fair, but there is more to defense than defending the pass. Cyrus Jones stepped up big, Eddie Jackson is still coming back from an injury.

Idk why Nick Perry is still playing, but Geno got beat for that long pass so I guess that is why.

If Eddie Jackson can get outrun by a tight end, then Tony Brow needs to be playing.
