How is this possible?

Further proof Tennessee sinned in a previous life: Last eight SEC West opponents have been a combined 53-2 at time of playing Vols, 2011-14
And all of those teams were No. 8 or higher at time of game, except for then-No. 19 Mississippi State (5-0) in 2012.
'14: 3 Ole Miss (6-0)
'13: 1 Bama (7-0), 7 Auburn (8-1)
'12: 19 Miss State (5-0), 1 Bama (6-0)
'11: 1 LSU (6-0), 2 Bama 7-0, 3 Ark (8-1)
