But I won't do it when we lose to a team who is better than we are. MSU is in a situation where years with one coaching staff, a good coaching staff, is given enough time to build depth with veteran players, with a very good QB, and jump all over you. You better believe UF is ready to go and get Dan Mullen if Muschamp finishes this year the way it should, by being terrible.

That being said, it's obvious we could have played better, but I think MSU has looked like the best team in the country the past two weeks, and could very well (possibly easily) win the West.

This team needs more LB depth and talent to be able to handle these zone read offenses with a legit mobile QB. Having to sacrifice QBs to go man-to-man all game with our DB's is not the way this defense is going to succeed this year. Luckily I think Auburn is the only team that is going to give A&M horrible fits on defense again this year.

If you want to jump off the bandwagon because we lost one game to a team that is clearly just better than we are this year then

If your problem is that it was MSU, hell even Kansas was able to put a team together for one year and go and win the Orange Bowl. It happens.

It was easier to take because it was so one sided.

But it brings to light that Arky wasn't a fluke, we are not near as good as some of us hoped

Solid melt wrapped in a non melt.

I'm not sure, but I think you are grinding me.

Yep. The missus kept giving me looks during the game expecting me to be pulling my hair out, but why would I? MSU was clearly much better.

I blame Spurrier! Before the year started I thought we'd probably go 8-4 and I'd be happy with that. But then USC set us up the bomb.

We played like shite.

But, even if we'd played our best, State still wins. They are the better team.

Not sure if it was the stage, the emotional way we won last week, simply hitting a wall, or likely some combination. But this is just an exceptionally young team and that often means inconsistency. So while we could have played better, we'll probably have another game like this one and another like SC before this season is through.

No, it was for longer, but I put the kibosh on that

They are a good team.

We lost.

I'm not melting, we have a lot of games ahead. I will slightly melt if we can't get a single win out of Bama/Miss/Auburn. I will unquestionably melt if we lose to Missouri or LSU.

Objectively I agree. This didn't hurt nearly as bad, partly because MSU was clearly dominant, partly because bama and LSU lost as well this weekend.

I'd rather lose to MSU any day than lose to any other west team. I hope the grinders make the SECCG if not us.

The recievers had a lot of drops, but Kenny has thrown like shite for the past 4 games in the first 3 quarters. Drops are going to happen, but when you have ALL the recievers dropping, well, ever heard of the saying 'the only thing in common with all of your failures is you?'

That's not to say he isn't a good QB. But he is a first year starter and he's done every conference game on the road so far. All of them. He gets rattled early, or so it appears.
