I just don't know if him being RS is worth risking a bowl game this season

Maybe it is, I just don't know

They did everything in their power to preserve the redshirts last year. Not surprising they'd do the same this year.

What I do know is that Peterman needs to be kicked out of Gibbs. He belongs at UTm. If he tried transferring to North Dakota State or Wyoming, they would laugh him out of the room. How the frick is he even on our roster, let alone on scholarship?

I've still not written off Dobbs and I would be shocked if he's not the guy next year. As bad as Peterman sucks, I'm glad they didn't pull a Dooley move and burn Dobbs redshirt for 10 mins of playing time.

I honestly think the coaches thought Peterman could handle a couple of series while Worley was getting his shite together. He doesn't do this shite in practice from what I've read but he just loses his fricking mind when the lights go on.

Looking back, we would've most likely won that game if we had just went with the wildcat the entire time Worley was out.

It's truly unbelievable how bad he's been in actual games, no way he looks anything like that in practice and is still the backup. Simply no way

Sounds like they're trying to give Dobbs the RS.

Peterman is bad man, real bad.
If ever there was somebody who didn't have "it", it's nate. He looks like a deer in headlights. Hopefully Worley can grind it out or you have to put Dobbs in IMO. Peterman is the opposite of a gamer

I actually feel bad for Peterman. He's improved so many mechanical things but he just freezes whenever he has to play with the game on the line. He can do backup work as long as it's garbage time but with any high stakes at all and he just melts.

That game proved to me (and probably to the coaches as well) that if Worley gets hurt in any kind of serious way, they'll have to burn Dobbs' redshirt. And speaking of redshirts... what sucks even more is Worley would and should have another year of eligibility if Doofus hadn't burnt his RS for no reason at Bama so I'm glad they didn't pull the trigger to soon on Dobbs.

Butch just admitted in the PC that they're trying to do all they can to preserve Dobbs' redshirt.

Well at least they've given us a definite reason

And, even though I knew he wasn't it's good to know that they don't think there's any credence to the notion that Dobbs isn't better than Peterman
