Jerry Jones' recent comments about Mo Claiborne not living up to the billing and OBJ's inability to get on the field has sparked discussion of how many busts LSU has had recently. Here's a review of their recent first rounders:

1 1 JaMarcus Russell Oakland Raiders Bust
1 6 LaRon Landry Washington Redskins Good
1 23 Dwayne Bowe Kansas City Chiefs Good
1 30 Craig Davis San Diego Chargers Bust

1 5 Glenn Dorsey Defensive Tackle Kansas City Chiefs Bust

1 3 Tyson Jackson Defensive End Kansas City Chiefs Bust

1 5 Patrick Peterson Cornerback Arizona Cardinals Good

1 6 Morris Claiborne Cornerback Dallas Cowboys Bust
1 14 Michael Brockers Defensive Tackle St. Louis Rams Good

1 6 Barkevious Mingo Defensive End Cleveland Browns Bust
1 18 Eric Reid Safety San Francisco 49ers Good

1 12 Odell Beckham, Jr. Wide Receiver New York Giants TBD, not looking good.

I don't think enough credit goes to Les Miles and his ability to get these guys college ready. They lose his mentorship and flake out in the league.

You can't be serious about Mingo. Watch a Browns game and get back to me.

Fox Sports -

Most Browns fans would say that Barkevious Mingo hasn't performed up to the expectation level given to him going into the 2014 season.

The sixth overall selection in the 2013 NFL Draft was expected to thrive in Mike Pettine and defensive coordinator Jim O'Neil's system, especially with the way he flashed his ability to rush the passer in his first three NFL games.

However, that hasn't been the case thus far.

Mingo started the season and didn't show up on the stat sheet against Pittsburgh. He missed the win over the Saints with a shoulder injury, but returned last Sunday to start against the Ravens. Mingo was credited with four tackles.

As a rookie, Mingo missed his first game recovering from a bruised lung and then registered a sack in his first three games. He finished second on the team with five sacks and had 42 tackles.
In 2014, he has just four tackles in two games with no sacks or tackles for loss. That seems like little production for any starting player, especially one selected as high as he was.

Everytime I watch the Browns Mingo is all over the field. Let's talk about LSU players doing well in the league that came out under miles.

Patrick Peterson
Michael Brockers
Joe Barksdale
Trai Turner
Alfred Blue
Tyrann Mathieu
BARKEVIOUS MINGO
Eric Reid
Perry Riley
Bennie Logan
Ego Fergusen
Jarvis Landry
Rueben Randle
Ricky Jean-Francois
Danny McCray
Steven Ridley
Kevin Minter
Lamin Barrow

I won't include guys like Jackson, Dorsey, and Claiborne because based in their draft position they haven't quite lived up to their billing. But as you can see LSU isn't lacking with players doing well in the league.

Btw I only included guys who were recruited by miles and played all their years at LSU under miles
