A&M has been playing football on Kyle Field since 1904. Any older fields out there?

Kyle Field started with just a grandstand. We didn't have a stadium until 1927.

From Wikipedia

quote:

Davis Wade Stadium, officially known as Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field, is the home playing venue for the Mississippi State Bulldogs football team. Located in Starkville, Mississippi, the stadium has a capacity of 61,337 and is the largest football stadium in the state of Mississippi. Originally constructed in 1914 as New Athletic Field, it is the second-oldest stadium in the Football Bowl Subdivision and the fourth oldest in college football, behind Georgia Tech's Bobby Dodd Stadium, the Yale Bowl, and Harvard Stadium.

Our tackle box is not the oldest. Above comments agreed ti was not a stadium until 1924.

That wasn't the question.

Well yeah. They're the Auburn of the state of Texas. Win every game and still #2 in their own state.
