Thanks for posting. Really looking forward to watching him play on Saturday.

I just hope people don't start calling for his head if he has a slow start on Saturday.

50% of Bama fans will be calling for Coker
100% of the rant will be chanting "Sims sucks!"

Yeah I've been supportive of Sims but also cautioning people that he's going to struggle at some point. I know this because every QB struggles at some point. Even if it's not this week it will happen sooner or later. Just have to hope that we play well enough in other areas to overcome it.

Blake will deliver a win. The rest of the sec is fixing to see how dangerous this kid really is.)

I'm just afraid this might be the weekend Sims has his A-Day type game. I hope not though.

This is what is known in literary terms as an oxymoron.

But yeah, it's a nice article.

Hopefully our WRs don't drop a lot of his passes like they did on A-day.

I'd rather lose with Sims than win with Jameis any day.

Hopefully not. But a lot of his terrible play was also due to making poor decisions after being pressured, and that was with no contact. He hasn't been pressured that much since A-Day. Here's to hoping he handles it better.

He will be fine, everybody has a off day but, I'm sure he will be fine. He has a good team around him

I almost feel like he is better when he knows that the play isnt going to end if he is simply touched. He got pressured in the WVU game and shoulder dipped, side stepped, and scrambled out of it beautifully. Can't wait for Saturday.

If so Coker wont be sitting very long .I dont see them leaving him in there if hes struggling .Hopefully we wont have to find out and he continues to make good decisions and play well.

Honestly there are only two QB's that I have seen play this year in the SEC that I would trade for right now. Hill and Mauk and even those two would not have fared much better than Blake due to the difference in offensive philosophy. Blake Sims is efficient and now our broken plays or plays that would have resulted in sacks for AJ are turning into positive gainers or TD's.

Blake Sims is a champion and after he lights up the Gators everyone will jump on the wagon. Better late than never I guess.

sims is the kind of qb i hate us having to go against, slippery, turns busted plays into first downs, makes simple but effective throws, gets the ball out quick. florida obviously is a defensive step up from what we have been playing (although the WV dline was pretty aggressive and the had at least 1 really good corner). but sims seems like he would be a nightmare to prepare for, plus the fact that we have probably only shown about 15-20% of our playbook so far. florida had to lay it all on the line against kentucky, and it was not particularly impressive. people keep saying how improved driskel is, but i dont see it. if they give us the space on the edge we will bubble screen them, if the play tight man coverage we will send the receivers deep and let blake attack the edges with his feet. we will of course pound it on the ground, but if need be we can switch to read option. we can go no huddle, we can go pro set, we can spread it out or move it inside. we have not even really gotten our TEs involved yet.
