So many missed oppurtunities. I'm over the loss but I honestly feel this was their Super Bowl.
I'm still confident we will win the East

We left enough points on the field to win the game, that's for sure.

I wish I could say the same. After seeing our defense Sat., I'm anything but confident. No doubt it was their biggest game of the season but these routine losses to Spurrier are getting old and no doubt are having an impact on recruiting. Auburn and Bama are already robbing us blind but if this keeps up, SC will be on equal footing in our own state.

So are you saying our loses to Spurrier are why Auburn and Bama are "robbing us blind?"
You do realize we are 2nd in the country right now.....Granted, Bama is ahead by ALOT, but that's more on their successes and the history of that program

Ahhhh, so Auburn gets better players in GA than UGA does??? Hrmmmm, I would love to see the proof there.
PS - Carolina can't even recruit in the Carolina's......I'm not worried about their recruiting in GA.....

The logic in this thread is so underwhelming...

I agree that USC definitely had their backs against the wall but I don't understand how our guys couldn't understand that this game was equally important to our season...now every game we play in conference is our season. If the USC coaching staff was able to impart the importance of this game and ours wasn't that is a monumental failure on the part of our staff...I much prefer to think that we simply failed to execute at opportune moments....

SC doesn't need to do any better in recruiting to beat us....they have done so with the recruiting they are doing 4 out of 5 years.....not saying they won't get even better but they are already plenty good enough to pretty much own our asses...

Whats depressing is how Spurrier and USCe routinely beats us and with much lesser ranked recruits. There is at no point in any of the millions of parallel universes/galaxies that USCe should have a better oline than UGA and it is really quite depressing, but thats what happened this year. It all comes down to coaching and Spurrier is and always will be better than Richt.
