Can someone post the injury updates for Noil and Henderson when they are finally released if they haven't already been?

Henderson had a cramp.

It doesn't seem like anyone knows about Speedy for sure. However, his twitter is very upbeat and doesn't seem like the twitter of someone who just got injured.

I would be just fine with Noil sitting against SMU. I think that happens anyway, and hopefully he will be ready for Arkansas.

Luckily we are playing a high school team this week, and can rest players who need it. We're going to need all hands on deck, especially in the front 7, for Arkansas.

No reason to play him if they are even slightly concerned. He looks plenty comfortable in the offense

FWIW from a friend in the AD...

Mastro was held out as a purely precautionary measure and would have played had it been an SEC game. He had ankle soreness after turning it against Lamar but will be 100% next week and whether he plays or not will have nothing to do with injury. Coaches might still hold him for Arkansas.

The same applies to Clear, could have played this week. His ankle is slightly more severe so he will be held out until Arkansas but should be 100%.

Harris and Washington are gonna play against Arky, no worries here other than rust.

Zaycoven has a mild patella injury (not sure if its a bone bruise or a patella ligament sprain) but he isnt expected to miss any time other than what the coaches deem necessary in terms of team need.

Speedy has an MCL sprain and is gonna miss 2-4 weeks.

I hate that. But of all the position groups, I'm least worried about missing a WR. I love watching the guy but we need Mastro and Henderson back more. (And Hilliard, but that ain't happening.) Will be good to get big Cam back.

I may or may not have used an injury to troll the rant.

I'll decide how bad I should feel about that in the morning.

What about Mike Matthews? He didn't play at all against Rice.

Pretty sure he's fine just precautionary. He could have played is what I had read somewhere.

Sumlin says there are false reports about speedys injury. That speedy won't play this weekend but Sumlin will have an update next week.

Possibly good news on that front.

It sounded to me like he took a shot at Hamm. Hopefully can have him back by Arkansas, but Pope has proven he is very capable.

Mastro also said in his presser yesterday than Shaan Washington took all the reps at WILL and looked really good.

I dont' think the offense will greatly suffer without Noil vs Arky.

That game will be won/lost on the ability to get our offense on the field.

Having Shaan back is going to be huge. It's just depressing that Hillard was this pleasant surprise and he was gone before we got past the first damn game.

Was going to post the same thing. If we can contain their ground game I have plenty of confidence in guys like Pope and Holmes to make plays if Speedy can't play. He will be more important against the really athletic defenses like OM, Bama, etc
