Alright so let's get some truths out there.  
1. Aggies say that they have such a better program and we weren't even competition but truth is we beat them 11 of the last 17 times we played and 7 of the last 11. From 95-08, we won 11 of 14. Not trying to say we dominated but we had a competitive series.  
2. TTU has great engineering programs. Sure there are some crappy ones to slip through the cracks but we have seen really good results with TTU engineers.  
3. TAMU has a great engineering program but they also let through their fair share of hacks.  
4. Let's talk about goalposts. In 1999, we upset the #5 aggies 21-19. About 60% of the crowd ended up on the ground with a handfull of students climbing the goalposts. The south post slowly bent and bent then finally snapped (and actually knocked me over... I was there). The students carried the goal post through their own student section up and out of the stadium (over the wall and fence) and carried it down University Avenue and onto campus to the Will Rodgers statue. No riots, fires, vandalism, etc. that you hear about at so many other schools. Fast forward 2 years. In 2001, we were favored to win and we did. Some fans were idiots and decided that tearing down goal posts needed to be a tradition... so anyway, some fans (not many) rush the field and to our disbelief, about 6 people on the goalpost bring it to the ground. Then about 2 or 3 dozen attempt to carry it out of the stadium through that same south endzone from 2 years before but were blocked by state troopers and sherrif's office. Not happy with this, the fans decide it would be a good idea to go out the opposite endzone even though now about 20 minutes after the game it was still about 1/3 full of aggies (they have about 10 minutes worth of rituals they do after each game). Instead of clearing out the stands, the aggies stood there to "hold their ground" as the fans tried to carry the goal post up and out of the stadium. 2 fans climb into the stands and grab the goal post. Aggies go crazy and the most infamous example is Mike Mckinley, who worked in the governor's office, got smacked in the face. Well Mr. Mickinley, prior to getting hit, was swinging a pair of binoculars around like it was Custer's last stand. Well, he knocked an aggie student in the back of the head with his binoculars so the student turned around and popped him in the jaw. That was the ONLY report of violence. Aggie on aggie violence, gotta love it. Well Mckinley doesn't realize it was an aggie so he starts holding press conferences about how bad Tech fans are, etc. etc. Never issued a retraction when the video evidence was shown. Video: LINK Notice you'll see that when a Tech fan first gets into stands, they grab the goal post to carry it up, not fight fans. They get tackled by an aggie fan and the goal post comes down on other aggies. More aggie violence.

If you know the Rice MOB band, they are a VERY entertaining band that often takes funny swipes at opposing teams. When the MOB poked fun at aggies by doing some military style marches, aggie fans ran them off the field.  
6. They don't have cheerleaders... who doesn't like seeing hot co-eds in skimpy skirts? Aggies would rather see milkmen in coveralls.  
7. Aggies lay claim to everything, including the "12th Man" so much so they were able to trademark it and will sue anyone using it. Even though the term "The 12th Player" E.A. McCowan, captain of the 1905 Iowa team.  
8. They squeeze nuts and growl: LINK  
9. They kidnapped Tech's Masked Rider Horse, "Tech Beauty" in 1963 before the game and locked her in a shed for 3 days. They spraypainted "AMC" (A&M College) with aluminum paint on her side and she died some short time later.
